APS Energy Audit Rebates

APS* Upgrading your air conditioner may score you a $200 rebate. As an added incentive, customers who have AC units installed through our rebate program typically save 20% more annually than customers who don’t use a participating contractor.

APS* If your air conditioner or heat pump is more than 10 years old and you’re planning to replace it, you might be eligible for a rebate of $200, and an opportunity for an additional $250 rebate when you have your air leaks sealed at the same time minimum of 15 SEER to qualify for the rebate.

APS* A $70 rebate comes with putting in a cool control device.

APS* You can get a $250 rebate when you have a participating contractor seal your air leaks through the APS AC Rebate and Home Energy Checkup programs.

APS* Insulating your home will keep it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. And when you have the work done through a participating contractor and the Home Performance Program, you’ll receive a $250 rebate. Not to mention more energy efficiency.

APS* Rebates are also available for AC upgrades within multifamily housing through the Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program.

APS* Duct Sealing – 75% of installed cost capped at $250 for up to 5 systems

APS* When you install a water heater timer, you are shifting some of your energy load to lower-cost off-peak hours, which saves you energy and money. And when you have the work done through a participating contractor and the Home Performance Program, you can receive a rebate up to $200 per device (limit 2.)

SRP Energy Audit Rebates

SRP* 75% off the insulation cost (up to $600), when installed by a participating contractor. Eligibility requirements: This insulation rebate applies only to attics and is based on the improvement of the insulation’s R-value. Existing insulation with an effective R-value less than R-19 that is improved to R-38 can qualify for a rebate. Be a current SRP residential electric customer (new construction does not qualify) who resides in a single-family detached home, single-family attached home or apartment/condo. Mobile homes are not eligible. Insulation greater than R-19 but performing under this value may qualify for a rebate to improve insulation up to R-38. Evidence of underperformance (e.g., photos and thermal images) and an explanation must accompany the rebate form.

SRP* Duct Test and Repair rebate helps you identify places in your home where energy escapes. Our rebate program covers 75% of repair costs or up to $400 of duct testing and qualified repairs. To qualify for the rebate all test and repairs must be completed by BPI-certified contractor. *Single-family detached homes qualify for up to a $400 rebate. Mobile homes, manufactured homes, apartments, condominiums and townhouses qualify for up to a $300 rebate. *Must be a permanent SRP residential electric customer with a central AC system or heat pump and reside in a single-family detached home, single-family detached dwelling or apartment/condominium.

SRP* Get up to $1,125 back on a new energy-efficient AC, heat pump or mini-split system. SRP* MUST Be a permanent SRP residential electric customer who resides in a single-family detached, single-family attached or mobile home or apartment/condo. SRP* MUST Have the qualified system installed by a contractor licensed to install residential air conditioning systems before April 30, 2021. SRP* MUST Replace or supplement an existing central heat pump or central AC with a new high-efficiency system that meets minimum efficiency ratings.

Solar Screens – $0.80 per sq. ft. CAPPED AT $250.00 SPR* MUST Purchase and install new or refurbished, qualifying shade screens with a licensed contractor by April 30, 2021. Install shade screens that block at least 80% of the solar heat gain on sun-struck windows only (west-, south- and east-facing windows). MUST Install screens on the exterior of clear glass windows that enclose an air-conditioned space.

SRP* SMART THERMOSTAT USERS, EARN UP TO $100 $50 SRP bill credit per thermostat (up to $100 if you have more than one eligible thermostat). After each subsequent year, you’ll earn an additional $25 bill credit (per eligible thermostat) for continuing in the program, which will be paid at the end of the summer cooling season.

Duct Sealing – 75% of installed cost capped at $175.00 per system for up to 5 systems

Attic Insulation – 75% of installed cost where existing <R19 and installed >=R30 capped at $250.00

Heat Pump split incentive when replacement EER>= 12.5 capped at: Tier 1 $300.00 (SEER >= 16 and <17) Tier 2 $400.00 (SEER >=17) for both tiers EER must be >=12.5 and HSPF must be >=8.5

Pool Pump – Variable speed $100.00 capped at 1 pump.
