DUCT CLEANING SERVICES IN ARIZONA

When Duct Cleaning is Right – We’re the Right Choice

Did you know that regular cleaning of your duct work is NOT recommended? However, there are times when you should consider cleaning your duct work. According to the EPA, you should have your duct work cleaned if:

*There is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system.

*Ducts are infested with vermin, e.g. (rodents or insects); or

*Ducts are clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris and/or particles are actually released into the home from your supply registers.

Your air conditioning and heating system relies on a system of vents and ducts that stretch through your home or business providing the air you need to stay comfortable. If you are experiencing any of the conditions listed above; these pollutants can be transported throughout your environment by the air currents being distributed by the a/c unit. This is where Convenient Home Services, Inc. comes into play.

MAKE SURE YOU USE A SPECIALIST

Professionally trained and certified by Air-Care Indoor Air Quality Specialists, we utilize techniques far different from services providers such as standard duct cleaning companies and carpet cleaners, who charge a low fee to get a foot in the door and then use “scare tactics” to upsell their second rate duct cleaning services.

At Convenient Home Services, Inc. we employ a “comprehensive duct cleaning” approach which requires technical training, certification and expertise. We start by cleaning the furnace or air handler compartment which is responsible for the distribution of air throughout your home. We then proceed to clean the indoor evaporator coil, blower wheel and registers/grills; all parts and equipment which are used in the air distribution process. Afterwards, we use a powerful 5-part HEPA Filter duct cleaning machine to remove all the debris and pollutants from the duct system to ensure it ends up in our machine and not back into your home. Finally, we’ll spray a deodorizer, disinfectant and soot sealer into your air ducts to ensure a fresh and clean duct system.

Since standard duct cleaning companies and carpet cleaners are not certified air conditioning/heating contractors; they do not possess the skills or expertise necessary to work on your air conditioning and heating equipment which need to be cleaned to constitute a “comprehensive duct cleaning”. They are limited to vacuuming out the ducts, which in most cases stir up dust and pollutants that find their way to other parts of the system. Once your a/c unit is turned on, the dust and pollutants are blown back through the duct system and returned to the home.

Unfortunately, using a substandard service provider can end up costing you more money as a result of damage or improper techniques. The EPA states:

“If a service provider fails to follow proper duct cleaning procedures, duct cleaning can cause indoor air problems. For example, an inadequate vacuum collection system can release more dust, dirt, and other contaminants than if you had left the ducts alone. A careless or inadequately trained service provider can damage your ducts or heating and cooling system, possibly increasing your heating and air conditioning costs or forcing you to undertake difficult and costly repairs or replacements.”

At Convenient Home Services, Inc. we practice the proper techniques to ensure your duct work or a/c unit does not sustain damage in the process. In addition, we cover your belongings and make use of our powerful 5-part HEPA Filter duct cleaning machine making sure you and your loved ones are protected when we enter you home to perform our “comprehensive duct cleaning”. Your system may not need regular cleaning however, we’re fully trained and certified to handle those instances where our expertise is required.
